Minecraft Java

In the Java representation of Saint Lauretia, we have placed books in chests around the map for students to find. These contain primary source extracts (that is, written by people from the period of study) that will provide greater context of the Transatlantic Slave Trade, conditions for the enslaved people’s, and some elements of their African culture.

Minecraft 10 & Education Editions

Due to the limitations of converting Saint Lauretia into Minecraft 10 & Education Edition, we cannot have books in these representations. We will continue to try and address this.
